    Hayley’s Tips to Fundraising

    1. Get Wired! There seems to be an endless supply of social networking and media tools out there. Why not use them to promote your fundraising initiatives?

    • E-mail
    • Youtube
    • Blog
    • Text
    • Twitter

    2. Kick it Old School. Even with modern marketing tools, never underestimate the power of the good old ways of getting your voice out there.

    • Posters
    • Speeches
    • Dramatic Performances
    • Local or School Paper
    • Radio
    • Local News

    3. Against the Grain. Consider some of these creative and zanny fundraising ideas.

    • Friendly Challenges With Rival School
    • T-shirt Parties
    • Me to We Fashion Show
    • Presentations for parents and community

HAYLEY CHATO, an aspiring fashion student, is currently going into her last year of high school as a Drama major at the Etobicoke School of Arts. She has been lending her design skills to Me to We Style since the summer of 2009, and has made t-shirts and hoodies for both Challenge Your Style and We Day. This year, she is very excited to be designing again for Challenge Your Style, and is also looking forward to helping design tees for the 2011 JUNO Awards. Hayley is very much a supporter of clothing made of sustainable materials and reducing the amount of pesticides being put into the Earth, and is proud to be helping a company that is dedicated to doing something about these issues.
